Trump Lawyer Lin Wood Says Pence "Will Be in Jail for Treason"
In a bizarre category five tweetstorm typically only seen on Trump’s Twitter feed, Trump lawyer Lin Wood made some truly unhinged allegations against high-level administration officials on New Year’s Day.
In a rambling mess of conspiracy theories, Wood says in part that Mike Pence will be jailed for treason, that Republicans were overlooked as one of the main participants in the theft of the election, and that when arrests for treason begin, Chief Justice John Roberts, VP Mike Pence, and Mitch McConnell should be at the top of the list.
Trump’s lawyer also tweeted, “If Pence is arrested, @SecPompeo will save the election. Pence will be in jail awaiting trial for treason. He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward & will sing like a bird & confess ALL.”
Tensions are running high in cuckoo-land as the Justice Department asked a federal judge to dismiss a last-gasp lawsuit led by a House Republican that seeks to give Vice President Mike Pence the power to overturn the results of the presidential election won by Joseph Biden. Pence is seeking a dismissal of that suit, which argues the Vice President should be permitted to “exercise the exclusive authority and sole discretion in determining which electoral votes to count for a given State,” or in other words, steal the election.
Trump has filed in the neighborhood of 50 election-related lawsuits since November, nearly all of which have either been dismissed or dropped. He has also been rebuffed by the United States Supreme Court twice - each time, he has approached the highest Court in the land.
Woods has also allegedly referred to himself as the Son of God, said that Jeffrey Epstein is still alive, and suggested that Justice John Roberts “is a murderous pedophile.”
Possibly of interest is that Anchorage Assembly member Jamie Allard who has refused to answer questions from the public about whether the 2020 presidential election was conducted fairly, followed Woods on Parler.
