State Senator Lora Reinbold Attacks Veteran Reporter James Brooks

Alaska State Senator Lora Reinbold (Q-Eagle River) attacked veteran reporter James Brooks on Facebook yesterday over an article Brooks wrote this past weekend.
Brooks, if you don't know, covers the state government, the Alaska Legislature and general assignments. Mr. Brooks previously reported and edited for the Juneau Empire, Kodiak Daily Mirror and Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. Brook's reporting is widely accepted as professional, credible and accurate.
State Senator Reinbold, on the other hand, is widely known for spreading misinformation on masks, the COVID-19 vaccine and was the recent recipient of a love letter sent to her by Alaska Governor Michael Dunleavy in which he wrote that Reinbold had "deceived the people of Alaska."
In a Facebook post, the state senator wrote in part that Mr. Brooks "is known for writing misleading articles and mischaracterizations. As you know, he leans to left and likely has an agenda from his bosses."
In a screenshot posted to Twitter, Mr. Brooks reached out to Senator Reinbold reminding her that he had reached out to her earlier in the day but never received a response from her.
Brooks wrote that he never said that Reinbold had a positive COVID test, or that anyone in her office had one.
Mrs. Reinbold responded by claiming Brook's article about her needed to be "re-written," and that she had spent hours correcting his errors. Reinbold also stated that both Brooks and his boss "insist on being defiant not correcting the errors."
Reinbold ended her comment with a question asking if the Anchorage Daily News received government bailout money.
The Facebook exchange, which occurred on Reinbold's Facebook account, is no longer available. Mrs. Reinbold is known for deleting/hiding comments that don't fit her own narrative, as well as comments the Senator doesn't like or agree with, an act some say could get the state Senator sued.
It wasn't immediately clear why Reinbold, who arguably whines the most about censorship, consistently finds herself deleting and blocking constituents en masse.
Mrs. Reinbold said on Facebook yesterday that she would respond "high level tomorrow," with more details on the self-made controversy, whatever that means.
