Special Assembly Meeting Schedule for Election Items – January 19
Citing a high number of propositions proposed for the April 5, 2022 Regular Municipal Election and the high public interest surrounding the proposals, the Anchorage Assembly has scheduled a special meeting for January 19 to take public testimony on election-related items.

Some of the items up for public hearing on January 19th are the advisory ballot proposition on the Eagle River, Chugiak and Eklutna separation, areawide facilities capital improvements bond and a Municipal Charter amendment regarding filling vacancies on the Assembly and Office of the Mayor.
