Pro-Bronson Megadonor WEKA LLC, Running Monoclonal Clinic, Goes on Hiring Spree

The monoclonal antibody (MAB) business appears to be good for pro-Bronson megadonor WEKA LLC, who recently posted available job opportunities on Indeed. WEKA, who jumped into the COVID business, is looking to hire roughly 20+ full and part-time COVID screening/testing staff and swab staff.

According to the job posting, the positions pay $18-$20 an hour, and the company actively seeks to hire individuals to fulfill long-term contracts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mayor Bronson, who has repeatedly touted the benefits of "experimental" MABs which have been authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration, appears to be hanging his hopes on the ill-conceived notion that MABs will solve Anchorage's burgeoning COVID crisis but now, Mayor Bronson's hopes may be falling apart.

Last Monday, the federal government moved to stave off shortages of monoclonal antibodies to help ensure equitable distribution. MABs will now be distributed weekly based on a state's population, meaning that many states will see a reduction in the number of doses provided to them—Alaska among those states. In a post made to its Facebook page over the weekend, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital wrote that until ample supplies are received, MAB treatments are now temporarily restricted.

To be eligible during the restricted period, treatment is only available to:

  • Unvaccinated individuals with a high-risk condition;
  • Vaccinated individuals with an immunocompromising condition or who are over the age of 65.

The national shortage of MABs can be partly attributed to right-wing anti-vaxers and vaccine conspiracy theorists making a run for the treatment after refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19, believing it to be an experimental poisonous bioweapon created to reduce the world's population.

Republican governors and mayors in some of the states hardest hit by the pandemic have strongly pushed the expensive MABs over masks and vaccines, catering to their brainwashed Trump base of supporters known to gobble copious amounts of the livestock dewormer medication Ivermectin.

According to a source, Alaska will receive approximately 660 doses of MBAs this week, which is likely not enough doses to treat those at high risk for developing severe COVID symptoms. Still, even in the face of a reduced supply of MABs, WEKA LLC is hiring, so business must be good.
