Forrest for Assembly volunteer kickoff event this Wednesday

East Anchorage Assembly Member Forrest Dunbar is holding a volunteer kickoff event this Wednesday, January 12th at 5:30pm. The event is geared towards helping supporters learn about ways they can get involved with his campaign and connect with others who are willing to donate their time to fight for Anchorage.

The Forrest for Assembly campaign is expecting a close, hard-fought election this year as Dunbar’s challenger is far-right Bronson loyalist and Save Anchorage member Stephanie Taylor. Taylor’s deputy treasurer is Henry Alan Senior Associate Haley Wadsworth, who ever so conveniently used to work at Axiom Strategies.

You remember Axiom Strategies right? I sure do. They were the out-of-state political consulting firm calling the shots, handling messaging, strategy, guidance, and polling for Bronson’s campaign, and now they’re back, meddling in more of Anchorage’s elections.

Axiom Strategies president Robert Phillips III was also the listed Deputy Treasurer of Recall Rivera, and in July filed for an Ohio business license for “Stephanie AK.” A July 29, 2021 press release for Taylor’s campaign identified Justin Matheson of Axiom Strategies as a contact for Taylor’s campaign.

The sneaky right-wing out-of-state political consulting firm and its political operatives will pull out all the stops to make certain Forrest Dunbar isn’t re-elected to the Assembly.

Registration for Dunbar’s kickoff event can be found here. It’ll take a collective effort to Save Anchorage from Save Anchorage in April.
