Defeated, Flynn-Taylor Concedes East Anchorage Assembly Race.

Stephanie Flynn-Taylor, a longtime Save Anchorage member turned right-wing radical who attempted to unseat East Anchorage Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar, called yesterday to congratulate him on his re-election.
Flynn-Taylor's failed bid for the assembly received support from noteworthy individuals such as Must Read Alaska Editor Suzanne Downing, ousted gubernatorial chief of staff, former Republican Tea Party Chair and behind-the-scenes operative Tuckerman Babcock, religious zealot and anti-LGBT crusader Jim Minnery and someone named Julie Allard, who is apparently masquerading as an assemblyperson.

According to the most recent unofficial Municipal Election results, Dunbar was leading Flynn-Taylor 55.36%-42.05%, a margin of 1,564 votes.
Perhaps worth noting is that in a post made to her campaign's Facebook page, Flynn-Taylor telegraphed to supporters that she wasn't quite done with politics, writing that while she was processing the disappointment of her 13 point loss to Dunbar, she was preparing for the next opportunity to serve.
Overall, Mayor Bronson and his Save Anchorage-backed Assembly and School Board candidates performed poorly in this year's Municipal Election, demonstrating that voters have grown weary of Anchorage's deeply unpopular and deeply embarrassing extremist mayor and those whom he supports.
Let's hope Flynn-Taylor thinks about that before deciding to run for office again.
