For Immediate Release: Anchorage – Today, the Forrest Dunbar for Mayor campaign announced that it now leads all campaigns in the Anchorage Mayor’s race across total amount fundraised, cash on hand, and surplus. This news follows the release of the “7-Day” APOC report, which covered the time period between March 6th and March 27th, showing Dunbar with a strong lead in funds raised in that span.

Since the beginning of the campaign, Dunbar has raised over $365,000 and currently holds more than $120,000 in cash on hand (an increase of almost $20,000 since the “30-Day” report), with a surplus of over $75,000. Dunbar has received donations from over 1,600 individual donors.

“As we head into the final week of the race, our campaign is encouraged by the ongoing growth in community support,” says Forrest Dunbar. “With more individual donors and local endorsements than any other candidate, we believe our message of fact-based leadership and focus on economic recovery is resonating with voters.”

Forrest Dunbar has represented East Anchorage on the Anchorage Assembly since 2016. For more information, visit:
