Dine & Dish with Eagle River’s Very Own Jamie Allard This Friday.

In an update citing Merry Munch and the Eagle River Christmas Tree Lighting, Allard now says that her team has decided to postpone Dine & Dish until after the Christmas Holiday.

Mark your calendars because this Friday you'll be able to sit down for an evening of "engaging conversation" with she who must not be named.

Mark your calendars because this Friday you'll be able to sit down for an evening of "engaging conversation" with Anchorage's worst assembly member and if you can stomach it, dinner!

According to a post on Jamie Allard's personal Facebook account, which she often uses for political matters, the Dine & Dish will go down on December 3rd at 6 pm at 12001 Business Blvd. Suite #170 which, according to a comment made by Allard, is the Anchorage Public Library.

Yesterday, on Twitter, the Recall Jamie Allard group suggested that Allard's Dine & Dish might be an appropriate opportunity for District 2 residents to share their grievances with the embattled Allard.

"If we do it in person she cannot block us or hang up on us when she does not agree with us!! #ancgov see you there," the group wrote.

The individuals behind the recall group state on their website that Allard went to great lengths to jeopardize a constituent’s job after publicly disagreeing with her. According to the group, when another one of Allard's constituents called her out for blocking them from her Assembly Facebook page, she deleted the page — blaming the “Left” and Facebook for “canceling” her.

The recall group also alleges that Allard's defiance of COVID-related mandates and restrictions has contributed to lengthy city closures, impacted by her support of events such as the Day of Reckoning, Bronson campaign events, and the attempt to drag out public testimony during a series of Anchorage Assembly meetings dubbed "The People's Filibuster."

Last November, after former president Donald Trump claimed that the 2020 presidential election had been stolen from him, Allard sent an email to Anchorage Municipal Clerk Barbara Jones — asking several questions about “Dominion Voting Machines.” Jones responded to Allard and the entire assembly in her response. In a social media comment made earlier this year, Allard alleged that corruption surrounding mail-in ballots was real, and stated that what she had learned from “Muni rules” was “alarming.”

Allard is also closely intertwined with the far-right Save Anchorage group, which has contributed to the spread of misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic, election fraud, city public health measures, and homelessness.

There's no word on what "engaging conversation" might be had at the event, but knowing Allard, it'll likely be filled with poorly interpreted COVID data, mask-wearing, and government mandates.

If you're planning to attend, be sure to bring your own dinner, drinks, and masks — Allard isn't providing anything.
