Anchorage Braces for Moms for Liberty Chapter Launch

Anchorage Braces for Moms for Liberty Chapter Launch

A merry band of right-wing radicals will meet this Saturday, December 16th, at Kaladi Brothers Coffee (6921 Brayton Drive) from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in an attempt to gather support for an Anchorage-based chapter of extremist organization Moms for Liberty.

The coffee talk event is being organized by 'Save Anchorage' member Theo Ransum, who identifies as a human male. Individuals are invited to discuss and share their thoughts about non-existent 'suggestive literature' (P0rN) they falsely and quite pathetically believe Anchorage School District librarians are dolling out to students.

Interestingly, I don't see any kind of note on the event page disinviting progressives, Democrats, or sane Republicans (I know you're out there, sane Republicans!), so I take that to mean all are welcome to attend. Horray!

Ransum has been struggling since September to find three individuals who have the time to sit on the chapter's board and help organize efforts to ban books and oppose educational curricula that include topics related to LGBTQ rights, racial and ethnic issues, and discrimination. Book banning is, after all, tireless and thankless work.

Individuals interested in attending this Saturday's event can RSVP at this link.

Oh, and if you're worried about being outed as a book-banning extremist using children as body shields in your war against public education, you have nothing to worry about because the attendee list is super secret and hidden. You know, as usual.
