Allard Invites Omicron to Fundraising Event Co-hosted by Save Anchorage Members

Eagle River's unpredictable assembly representative Jamie Allard, now disgraced after she was ousted from her position on the state Human Rights Commission by Governor Dunleavy for defending Nazi terminology seen on two Alaska vanity license plates, and who was seen wearing an unsafe crocheted face mask at an Anchorage Assembly meeting, is holding a New Year's Eve fundraiser in which she will undoubtedly seek gobs of money from pro-covid supporters.

Allard's fundraiser will be held at the Marriott Hotel, owned by Columbia Sussex, whose out-of-state Alaska political influencer president threw a lot of money in the direction of scandal-ridden Anchorage Mayor David Bronson during the mayoral campaign.

A list of co-hosts for virus-fest includes numerous members of the far-right Save Anchorage group, including Bernadette Bradley, Senators Shelly Hughes, Mike Shower, Bronson Homeless Coordinator Dave D'Amato, red-shirt Deborah Bronson, Bruce Schulte, Carol Ashlock, Deborah Brollini, Sveta Cross, Bob Griffin, Charise Millett, Dean Marshall, Spencer Moore, and Rick Morrison.

Allard, who filed a letter of intent to run for state office in November, may find herself faced with opposition by those within her own party who believe the often combative, inexperienced, thin-skinned, and unpredictable loose canon is too extreme to serve in the legislature.

According to two individuals who say they're familiar with the details, more moderate conservatives within the Alaska Republican Party are planning to oppose Allard's run for higher office, with one of those people saying that an Allard win "will never happen."

Allard was a 2018 candidate for District 14 of the Alaska House of Representatives and was defeated in the primary election by Kelly Merrick. Allard has never quite gotten over the thrashing Merrick gave her in the primary and made sure to let her fellow Save Anchorage members know exactly how she felt about her — calling Rep. Merrick a "False Flag Republican" in a May 9 post.

In a May 19 post made to the Save Anchorage group, Allard told Rep. Merrick, who isn't even a member of the group, to run as a Democrat and to leave the Republican party.

Watching the far-right attack reasonable members of its own party is a little delicious. Speaking of delicious, check out this 2018 ad. Next year is going to be insane.
