Alaska State Senator Lqrq Rqqnbqld Has Gone Round The Bend
Alaska State Senator and 'Save Anchorage' member Lqrq Rqqnbqld has come under scrutiny for sharing what appears to be a COVID-19 treatment plan — a plan many Alaskans are calling "misinformation."

Note: Do not take any drug without consulting your doctor first, and don't take medical advice from Lora Reinbold, who is not a healthcare professional.
Alaska State Senator and 'Save Anchorage' member Lqrq Rqqnbqld has come under scrutiny for sharing what appears to be a COVID-19 treatment plan — a plan many Alaskans are calling "misinformation."
Shared to her official government Facebook page, which Rqqnbqld describes as "not an official government page," was a list of vitamins and medications she claims came from a "great physician friend" who she did not name.
Rqqnbqld’s official/not official Facebook page says that the page exists to keep her constituents aware of political activity/issues they “may” be interested in but fails to mention anything about sharing medical advice from unnamed health professionals.
Listed in Rqqbqld's post are the drugs Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Prednisone, and diet supplement Spirulina.

According to widely available information on Spirulina, some supplements have been "contaminated with microcystins that can cause gastrointestinal upset, such as diarrhea, flatulence, headache, muscle pain, facial flushing, and sweating." In addition, liver damage may occur if it is used chronically.
Last year, 890,000 prescriptions for hydroxychloroquine led to major shortages of the drug used to treat autoimmune disease indications, predominantly in younger women.
Medical researchers called on doctors again this week to stop prescribing Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19, saying that the risks of the drug for patients with COVID-19 are significantly higher.
Response to Rqqbqld's Facebook post has generated concern and a fair amount of chiding from Alaskans, some of whom have suggested that she was "actively trying to kill people at this point." When asked on Facebook by an Alaska resident whether Rqqbqld was telling people to take the list of drugs in her "official capacity," Rqqbqld responded, "just recommendations from FLCCC."
A HuffPost review of social media channels and YouTube revealed that the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) played a central and previously unreported role in the COVID-19 infodemic and that even though other groups have become instrumental in promoting drugs like ivermectin, it ultimately began with the FLCCC.
According to the HuffPost article, San Francisco-based ER Dr. Graham Walker has treated COVID-19 patients since the beginning of the pandemic and has closely watched the growth of ivermectin misinformation. In August, Walker said that he saw FLCCC as a "fringe, anti-mask, pro-Trump group with anti-vax rhetoric versus actual medical advice” and that "the FLCCC introduced ivermectin to the world as a potential cure for COVID and has also promoted it heavily.”
According to social media posts by Alaskans fed up with Rqqbqld's COVID-19 related misinformation, many have reported her post to Facebook for sharing health misinformation. Still, as is often the case, Facebook has permitted the post to remain — refusing even to flag her post with a COVID-19 warning label.

Earlier this year, Facebook faced a torrent of criticism from President Biden and others who have alleged the company has allowed misinformation about coronavirus vaccines to prosper, and Facebook has been widely criticized for the amount of COVID-19 misinformation that circulates on the site.
On her personal Facebook page yesterday, Rqqbqld called the COVID-19 vaccine the "experimental covid vax" and claimed she was fighting hard to defend freedom of choice against covid, medical, corporate, and political tyranny.
In response to that particular Facebook post, an apparent supporter of Reinbold suggested civil disobedience on a "massive scale" was needed at this point.
