Alaska State Senator Lora Reinbold Issues an "Apology" and Cake

Alaska State Senator Lora Reinbold has taken to her professional Facebook page to apologize for "venting on Facebook with too much emphasis." Reinbold says some Alaska Airlines employees may have found her venting offensive.

She also posted a picture of this cake.

The controversial figure has made numerous Facebook posts since her anti-mask rant about individual freedoms, comments that can only be described as anti-mask rhetoric.

Interestingly, Reinbold attacked Jill Burke of "KTUU" and has doubled down on her statement that sneaking past COVID-19 checkpoints at airports is okay to do, writing on Facebook:

"Did Jill Burke at KTUU/Alaskas News Source build trust and uphold the standards she promised to, when they did a story, using my name tonight?  I gave them an almost 30 minute interview yesterday. Regardless of my wishes, they chose to use a post from my personal page with privacy settings, even after going out of my way, to interview with them. Regarding "sneaking" or walking past the people in hazmat suits, at the airport, where there may be a long line, it is okay to do!"

Weird.
